Originating in 1978 and redesigned with minimal formal variations in 2012, the washbasin mixer underwent a profound and radical transformation that launched it into a new sphere: colour, together with the pop shape and unusual volume, meant that the washbasin mixer went from being a purely technical object to a furnishing accessory, no longer a supporting element of the bathroom environment.

Davide Mercatali / Paolo Pedrizzetti
This cult series designed by Davide Mercatali and Paolo Pedrizzetti, with its use of colour and pop shapes, has become the archetype of a new generation of products.
Two of the most distinctive features of the I Balocchi series are the use of color and rounded shapes.
